Supplier Quality Engineer - (Newton, NC)

This project is directed from OEM - they will be conducting a decent amount of PPAP's on parts both internally and potentially on external suppliers. Must have automotive and PPAP background. - Manage Supplier process and product development utilizing the AQPQ process - With the Program buyer, support pre-sourcing activity for all assigned new programs - Conduct and Complete risk assessments of existing and potential new suppliers - Participate in Supplier selection process and conduct initial assessments of potential suppliers - Conduct supplier audits and assessments in accordance with program qualifications - Support the program buyer on the RFQ - Identify qualifications and qualification for the new program components - For SQA and purchasing function prepare program reviews (lessons learned) - Initiate the supplier program review with the external supplier and program buyer
