QC Technician - (Union City, CA)

QC Food Technician needed East Bay To assure the production of high-quality finished product which meets Company and customer specifications by: controlling in-process parameters, formulating batch sheets, stabilizing batches, performing quality control checks on all finished products. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Controlling In-Process Parameters: The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assuring the compliance of in-process product to all applicable standards. These standards may include: color and fineness of refiner paste, fat levels, moisture levels, viscosity, pH and color of dutched chocolate liquors, fat levels of cocoa cake, flavor of milled liquors, flavor and clarity of cocoa butters and any other test which may result in a favorable outcome for the finished product.
