Business Office Manager - (Newton, MA)

JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Business Office Manager is to direct overall administrative and fiscal activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, as directed by the Regional Accountant, Corporate Human Resources staff, and/or the Administrator to assure that proper administrative and fiscal procedures are maintained at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fiscal Functions Assumes responsibility for accuracy of patient paid accounts. Receives payment on resident accounts and issues receipts. Assumes responsibility of posting receipts to journals daily. Balances daily receipts completing required forms, and making necessary bank deposits. Receives , sorts and post fees to resident account ledgers according to predetermined classifications. Assumes responsibility for resident trust accounts, timely posting of receipts, deposits and fees. Ensure accurate quarterly reporting to family and government agencies.
