Engineering Specialist - (St Cloud, MN)

A leading manufacturer of precision granite solutions is seeking a fulltime Engineering Specialist. If you are detailed oriented and quality minded, they want you for their team. The Engineering specialist provides an important role of smoothing the production path by making sure technical details are in order. Engineer updates technical details of jobs in process as necessary to document improvements. Monitor errors or omission so they are not repeated on future jobs. Drawing review- new and repeat customer drawing to ensure all pertinent manufacturing details are spelled out. May include detailing, annotating, or redrawing customer parts for clarity and detail. Maintain drawing file index. Provide CAD/CAM info for CNC programming when required Verifying the appropriate work centers are selected based on size and tolerance capabilities. BOM Review and maintenance- detail fasteners and other purchased parts to complete bills of materials for purchasing.
