Imaging Services Representative II - Santa Cruz (40 hrs Limited Term) - (Santa Cruz, CA)

Working with and under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Services Manager / Director to provide complete communication, scheduling and image management for the purpose of delivering quality healthcare to our patients. Principal accountabilities include: Greets patients for Imaging Services Uses Radiology Details System to register, schedule and track patient's details Receives and confirms radiographic requests High-school diploma or equivalent required.1-2yrs of relevant job experience wanted Formal training in medical reception through technical schools, junior college or correspondence courses, preferred. 6 Mons experience in a medical facility preferred Verbal and writing skills for frequent contact with physicians, employees, patients and patient families; requires patience and compassion Expertise to effectively mentor and/or develop others Expertise to type 30 wpm.
