Chase Brass and Copper Company, the innovative leader in the brass rod industry, is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. Roll Purpose and Scope The Design Engineer will support the manufacturing operations by using 3-D software to design and develop the tooling necessary produce all Chase products. This position is also responsible for managing the tooling inventory, supplier development, and technical support of the Sales and Business development processes. Responsibilities: Specific duties include: Responsible for all aspects of the design, development and troubleshooting of all tooling to support the manufacturing environment. Responsible for inventory control, budgeting and sourcing of all tooling. Providing engineering support and tool cost estimating of new products for the Sales department Leading quality improvement and cost reduction efforts related to Extrusion, Finishing and Forging Tooling and Processes.
