Urgent Need for Assistant Controller Near O'Hare Airport!! Our client a growing manufacturer and market leader is looking for an Assistant Controller to add bench strength to an already growing accounting and finance team. This position will be responsible for directly supervising several professionals at the senior and staff level and will report to the company's Controller. A summary of key duties and assignments include the following: Inventory control and related cost analysis Month-end plant closing financial statement and report preparation Operational plant metric KPI analysis Sales and product margin analysis Weekly and monthly financial production reporting Point person for year-end audit The successful applicant with have a Bachelor degree in Accounting with a CPA, CMA and/or MBA preferred. Advanced Ms excel skills required along with previous plant accounting background.
