Peer Specialist 3 - (Binghamton, NY)

MAJOR FUNCTIONS: 1. Participate in on-going continuing-ed completing certification qualifications 2. Provide peer to peer support 3. Share common experiences 4. Participate in care planning 5. Provide transportation 6. Facilitate community orientation/integration 7. Actively participate in scheduled supervision 8. Facilitate support groups 9. Assist others in recovery based on individual need and cultural considerations 10. Participate in all required training 11. Represent the Agency and program in the community and with other service providers 12. Regular and substantial contact with individuals receiving support 13. Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor
