Kinship Care Caseworker - (Allentown, PA)

Pinebrook Family Answers provides solutions for generations from infants to seniors. Our goal is to help all types of families become healthy and flourish by providing services and programs to overcome challenges and succeed in daily living. The Kinship Care Program is designed to help the child and his/her kinship caregivers, biological/legal parents, if available, and extended kinship family, work through the problems that made relative placement necessary, and facilitate successful reunification if possible. POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of a program supervisor, the incumbent in this position provides casework and family work to an assigned caseload of families in Pinebrook Family Answers Kinship Care Permanency Program. S/he is responsible for engaging and developing effective working relationships with families with the goal of assisting them to achieve a safe, permanent living arrangement for child(ren).
