Test Engineer - (East Peoria, IL)

Aerotek/EASi are partnering with Caterpillar's Peoria Proving Grounds on adding a contract Test Engineer to support the development of NexGen Grade Control technology in conjunction with Trimble Navigation. This is a long term, indefinite contract opportunity. Duties will include: 1. Assisting with setup of instruments for testing of grade control systems on earth-moving machines. 2. Installation of sensors, brackets, displays, wiring, and other grade control hardware on earth-moving machines. 3. Assisting with functional and performance testing of grade control systems, working with software engineers to use data to improve their programs. 4. Analysis of data from grade control system tests using Matlab and other analysis software. What you will need: 1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology highly preferred.
