Internal Communications Consultant II - (Swiftwater, PA)

Responsible for supporting communications senior director in the development and validation of communications materials, such as press releases, Q&As, backgrounders, talking points, etc. Activities will include: research and info gathering, drafting, editing and proofing, obtaining approvals, and administration of distribution process. Provides project coordination and administrative support necessary for the R&D communications function. Also will assist in fostering good relations with 3rd party organizations, preparing reports and general public relations support for the communications department. The Communications Specialist could work with the R&D project managers to continually assess deadlines and priorities associated with projects – especially for high-priority projects with time sensitivities. In addition, the communications specialist will be responsible for putting together ppt presentations on many different R&D communications topics.
