Introducing the all new Gathering Place with Purdue Dining Catering! https://www.dining.purdue.edu/CateringAndEvents/Students.html This new role will serve as leader in charge of food production and presentation at The Gathering Place in Meredith Residence Hall. This includes planning, prioritizing and monitoring levels of staff as well as assigning staff to ensure an orderly flow for meals. You will assist supervisors in the continuous training of employees and maintaining service and product standards. In addition, you will assist supervisors in monitoring food costs, portion control and presentation as well as prepare food, serve, set up serving area and ordering food and supplies. This role will ensure that high customer service standards are met by maintaining good communication with customers, employees and supervisors. Required: High-school diploma/GED. 2 Years of food service experience. Expertise to maintain high work standards and productivity. Interpersonal and intercultural relations skills.
