Summary: Highly skilled fork truck operator responsible for moving patterns and core boxes to the Foundry from the Pattern Storage area and for making cores in the Foundry. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operates fork truck in a highly skilled manner. Moves patterns and core boxes to the Foundry from the Pattern Storage area. Possesses knowledge of pattern equipment and where it is used. Cross train in our Foundry to make sand cores used in molds to form holes or hollows in metal castings. Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable.
