Furnace Crane Operator - (Attica, IN)

Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Starts up, operates, and shuts down overhead cranes. Operates crane in a safe and efficient manner. Pays close attention to people and equipment on the ground. Performs daily crane inspections. Maintains crane operator's report. Reports any crane problems to maintenance. Fees and back fees furnaces. Holds ladles when tapping and transferring ladles to run out car. Adds electrodes to furnace. Dumps slag trays. Unloads scrap and ingot dump trays. Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable.
