Manufacturing Production Supervisor (First Shift) - (Alachua, FL)

Production Supervisor Basic Functions: Function as a liaison between Self-Directed Work teams, Manufacturing teams, Management, and Plant support units. Provide assistance in identifying and solving production and team problems. Representative Responsibilities: Act as liaison to corporate departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve problems and improve communications with the teams. Represent Management interests in day-to-day production floor activities. Work with teammates to develop manufacturing abilities and enhance people skills. Assist with the training of operators in new and revised operational procedures. Assist Self-Directed and Manufacturing teams in solving technical and other problems. Provide training to new Team Coordinators Assist Coordinators in solving problems specific to their roles. Facilitate communications to minimize barriers and resolve problems. Attend morning production meetings to facilitate communications and evaluate / resolve problems. Facilitate team meetings.
