Coordinator Recreational Sports and Fitness Programs - (Coeur D'Alene, ID)

SUMMARY Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for all phases of planning, organizing, promoting, implementing, and supervising comprehensive Recreational Sports and Fitness programs. The mission of these programs is to provide opportunities that foster community, instill a sense of belonging through physical activity, and provide a positive environment for students to develop both personally and professionally by offering many opportunities for involvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list includes, but is not limited to the following: * Plans, coordinates, advertises, implements and supervises all Recreational Sports programs for NIC students and employees. * Schedules, promotes, and coordinates instruction for all Fitness programs for open recreation events in the SWRC. * Maintains all equipment associated with Recreational Sports and Fitness programs, which includes replacing, repairing, upgrading, and determining the need for additional equipment.
