Kennel Attendant - (Geneva, IL)

We are a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in Geneva, Illinois looking for kennel attendants who will be responsible for the day-to-day care of dogs, cats, and exotics boarding in our hospital; as well as providing and maintaining a clean and sanitary work atmosphere. Kennel Duties include: -Feeding/watering animals -Cleaning cages, runs, and outdoor areas -General cleaning and organization of hospital including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting -Laundry -Walking animals -Bathing boarding/groom animals (nail trimming, blowdrying and ear cleaning) -Monitoring the well being of boarding animals by obtaining and recording weight, appetite, activities, and elimination habits -Assisting doctors and technicians with treatments and effectively restraining animals -Retrieval and delivery of animals to and from clients Potential applicants must possess: -Expertise to multi-task in a quick paced environment
