Quality Engineer - (Walnut, CA)

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the medical device industry. 1 of our clients is looking to add a strong Quality Engineer to their team. Assignments include: 1) Design and develop projects and guarantee the design process fulfills all needs 2) Sustain appropriate parts of the design history file for assigned projects, adhering to company design control methodology 3) Ensure engineering changes are complete, accurate and properly documented 4) Initiate CAPA and QMS documentation as required by the company policy 5) Assist Production, Design and Manufacturing Engineering in evaluating new manufacturing technologies and needs for quality input 6) Assist in the creation, exploration and disposition of nonconforming product 7) Carry procedures and issues related to production, including rework, troubleshooting, quality inputs and resolutions 8) Work with suppliers to improve quality and assist with product related issues
