Content Editor/Proofreader - (Dallas, TX)

Description: We are seeking an experienced person to edit a variety of educational materials, including on-line courses, printed handbooks, student manuals, instructor guides, and certification exams. This job mandates editing, proofreading, and writing to update existing materials and polish new content. As a member of a team responsible for publishing print materials and on-line courses, an organized (Post-it notes certainly count) and collaborative yet independent personality is needed. This person should be unafraid to ask questions but able to run with any project thrown his or her way. Responsibilities: Edit new educational materials and revise current materials using our company style guide, as well as Chicago style. Conduct quality assurance testing for on-line courses and SaaS products, and work with a Content Management System and Learning Management System to help publish courses. Proofread carefully for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and formatting errors.
