Children's House Teacher for ages 3-6 - (Nellis, WV)

Primary Teacherfor Montessori Classroom A Fayetteville, West Virginia-based learning cooperative is seeking a teacher for children ages three to 6yrs old in a small mixed age classroom in an idyllic setting. Must be able to inspire young children, employ kind and respectful discipline, and be able to guide learning in a variety of subjects and at a variety of levels. Must be comfortable with an advanced academic program that includes Pre-k through second grade-level material. Strong classroom management capability and attention to detail are essential. Perfect candidate must be Montessori trained or be able to complete a Montessori teacher training program. Assistance in paying for this training is available and part of the position offered. Location for this position is in the southeastern outdoor mecca, the New River Gorge.
