ASSESSOR TOWN OF WATERFORD The Town of Waterford seeks a proven leader to direct the operations of the Assessor's Office. The successful applicant will plan, direct and supervise a continuous town-wide program of real and personal property assessment for taxation purposes as prescribed by the Connecticut General Statutes; the successful applicant will manage the activities of the Assessor's Office including budget, personnel supervision, and preparation and verification of the Annual Grand List. We seek a Bachelor's Degree and prefer a major in Business Administration with course work in real estate management, economics, or other related fields; not less than 4 (4) years of employment in appraisal or assessment of real and personal property, including at least 3 (3) years in municipal assessment required. Must possess a Certified Connecticut Municipal Assessor designation. Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
