Associate Scientist / Chemist - (Sparks Glencoe, MD)

Position title: Associate Scientist / Chemist Pay level:$18 Duration:4 mons Location:39 Loveton Circle Sparks MD 21152 Requirements: Knowledge of experimental design; good technical written correspondence expertise; Technical skills including Excel, Word, Lotus Notes; Expertise to learn MS Project, Microsoft power point, and statistical software; Demonstrated understanding of both analytical and organic chemistry, HPLC, wet chemistry, Infrared, and UV-Vis.; The expertise to apply sound technical and scientific judgment including use of statistical methods to identify and resolve technical issues. Will perform assigned routine laboratory tasks and learn the application of Quality procedures to ensure compliance. Works with SAP enterprise system to enter laboratory data and release material. Typically involved in routine testing of products and supplier materials and/or stability testing. Implements tasks and participates on teams.
