JOB CODE: (370715) OT/Occupational Therapist (Hospital) LOCATION: southeast AK (Alaska) Not-for-profit health care system serving communities in the West Coast and Alaska with approx 16,000 caregivers serving both urban and rural communities throughout the Northwest is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide patient care which includes the evaluation of patients, determining plan-of-care and goals of treatment, participating in treatment of patients, supervising assistants and aides and students in following the plan-of-care and treatment of patients appropriate to the age of the patient served. Provides supervision to therapy aides and volunteers. Works collaboratively as a part of a patient care team toward the best outcomes for patients. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals, using data from a variety of sources, such as patient records, interviews, observation and teammates.
