Transmission Engineer III or IV - (Benson, AZ)

Responsible for engineering and construction of transmission power lines and substations. Provide line maintenance engineering and construction management. Assist other groups within the cooperative and the member cooperatives in the capacity of Registered Civil Engineer. Safe and cost effective structural design of transmission and substation facilities. Prepare engineering design packages for construction of new transmission lines, substations, optical ground wire (fiber optic) installations and maintenance projects on the existing transmission system. Assist with supervision and inspection during the construction of transmission lines and substations. Investigate and provide solutions to correct problems with line materials and equipment. Provide Civil Engineering support to other groups, departments and cooperatives especially in the Transmission Operations and Maintenance Department.
