Job Description Automation Engineer Position details The CI, Technology and Engineering Team is comprised of key staff members responsible to drive continuous improvement using Lean 6 Sigma tools and methods across the Catalent site, with associations and possible responsibilities across the organization including functional reporting to Global CI, Technology and Engineering Team. This position is responsible for providing technical support, coordination and ability for new technology introductions, process and equipment automation, and other existing technologies at the Somerset site. This position is responsible for oversight of engineering projects including: programming modifications of machinery and equipment, troubleshooting of PLCs and HMIs, specification and procurement of new equipment, equipment installation and start-up.
