City Bloomer State Wisconsin Telecommute No Department Laboratory Medicine & Pathology Why Mayo Clinic Individual will be responsible for nightly operations, instrument maintenance, quality control in all disciplines of the laboratory. Laboratory is hospital- based, with staff that are all strong generalists. Position summary Receive direction from Lab Manager, Regional Director, Technical Supervisor/Operations Supervisor and the Laboratory Medical Director. Work cooperatively with Administration, Physicians, Allied Health Staff, patients and residents. Non-Exempt position. Performs analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. Requirements For MT-Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or health related position. Completion of a clinical laboratory internship required.
