Maintenance Mechanic Reports To: Maintenance Manager Location: Richmond, CA Role: Hourly SCOPE OF POSITION Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for but is not limited to maintaining, rebuilding, repair, and the preventative maintenance of all plant operating equipment and facility buildings. Responsible for ensuring all related SOP's and plant rules pertaining to RMP, PSM, safety, operating procedures, and personal conduct are followed. RESPONSIBILITIES This position necessitates diversity in mechanical expertise to perform overall plant maintenance. Work includes tank vessel opening and clean outs, changing of piping, valves and general plant upkeep and maintenance .This position mandates climbing stairs and ladders and also lifting (within OSHA guidelines). This job consists of outside elements where radiant heat or cold is normal workplace environment. Perform certified welding, cutting and burning. Perform pump, gearbox and motor repair.
