Infection Prevention Manager - (Concord, CA)

A large, 400-bed Medical Center just east of San Francisco is looking for an Infection Prevention Coordinator to manage the Infection Control and Prevention activities. The Infection Prevention Nurse Leader will become a part of a hospital that is committed to excellence and is a top hospital in the city. This position is responsible planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of infection control and prevention across the hospital, ensuring that it is in compliance with all regulations and qualifications, including those set by the Joint Commission, DPH, OSHA, and CMS. The Infection Prevention Coordinator will work across all of the major departments of the hospital and their directors to ensure infection prevention. The role truly plays an integral role in the hospital's continued success, and is important to establishing new policies and protocols to ensure patient safety throughout the continuum of care by reducing infection risk.
