Lead Teacher (EC) - (Bristow, VA)

The Lead Montessori Teacher will be part of a great team that brings Montessori pedagogy to an area with limited Montessori options for parents. The school facilities is the brand new and state of the art featuring a 14,000 sf, 2 story building as well as outdoor playground and gardening area. The Lead Teacher will design the classroom curriculum, maintain harmony, work individually and in groups, ensure safety and regulatory compliance and inspire children (3 - 6yrs of age) to learn. The Lead teacher will be a nurturer by nature and someone who enjoys the creative challenge of create a personal classroom environment founded in core Montessori teachings. Qualifications: The qualified candidate should have: Graduate training recognized by AMS (American Montessori Society), AMI (Association Montessori Internationale), NCME (National Council on Measurement in Education) or MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education).
