Position Announcement: Animal Science Instructor -Livestock Judging Team Coach Job summary: Northeastern Junior College is seeking an Animal Science Instructor and Livestock Judging Team Coach. The Successful candidate must have the skills and motivation to produce excellence in teaching, academic advising, coaching, and coordination of the livestock judging program. Northeastern Junior College has developed a long standing reputation for quality educational programs in agriculture and nationally competitive judging teams, the successful candidate will be expected to continue and build upon that reputation. Teaching responsibilities include Animal Science, Live Animal Evaluation, Livestock and Carcass Evaluation, and/or other livestock and agricultural courses. Opportunities to develop and teach courses delivered online may be available. Considerable time and travel requirements can be expected in fulfilling the responsibilities of the livestock judging team coach.
