Homepage Editor The newsday.com Homepage Editor helps run the homepage and mobile fronts at 1 of the nation's leading newspapers, located in the New York metropolitan area. You'll also take a leading role identifying opportunities to increase page views and unique visitors and creating content to better serve our Long Island audience. The perfect candidate will run the day-to-day programming and breaking news coverage and oversees Web producers and interns; closely monitors and analyzes metrics, audience data and other media web sites; and works with on-line and print editors, photographers, videographers and other staff across department lines to create multimedia content. She or he creates compelling multimedia stories, extras, projects, etc.; represents the digital team in daily and other meetings; and helps develop and implement strategies to improve site design and usability to increase traffic.
