QC Technician - Diagnostic Testing - (San Diego, CA)

- Automated Release testing (Panther and Tiger instruments that all assays run on, automated) for Women's Health diagnostic products - Able to generate well written reports and Quality Notification (QN), Pre-Planned Deviation (PPD) and Lab Investigation (LI) - Able to generate and evaluate trend results for laboratory investigations, provide well written reports and justifications for response - Able to provide technical assessments on invalid or OOS results to support LI investigations - Supports Core Team projects and deliverables. - May be a QC Document Lead - May assist in training new employees and co-workers - Initiates and edits documents in Live Link - Assists with QC investigations per written and verbal instructions - May act as a Lead within the work cell to coordinate the testing, release of specific product line and communicate cross-functionally as needed - Performs and documents laboratory maintenance and equipment maintenance per written protocols
