4 Metals Automation Technician Positions. twelve Hr. Shifts (Day & Evening) Automations Technicians perform specific tasks in relation to the technical areas they are assigned; troubleshoot mechanical issues, improving the manufacturing process. Requires technical ability and comprehensive knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and AutoCAD. Duties: Create programs, make/update changes on Punches, Lasers, Brakes, Roll Formers, and welders& to existing programs. Understand and troubleshoot complex CNC controlled metal fabrication machines with the use of machine documentation, mechanical drawings, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Draw parts from blueprints or specifications using CAD or digitizer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, HS dip/equiv. required.
