Job DescriptionJob Description: Senior Logistics Manager is a key member of the Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) team. This position is a fulltime onsite position. This position reports to the onsite Transition and Initial Outfitting Project Managers. The position is 1 of the key staff positions for the project team. The staff member must possess distinct skills in logistics management as it relates to the IO&T process. The nature of the project requires this position to fulfill a hybrid type role that bridges all logistics qualifications. The primary areas of work include:Logistics Planning: Support the development of the acquisition plan (Procurement Plan and Schedule) as it relates to equipment planning, acquisition, and receipt. Facilitate the development of organizational and service specific logistics operational plans. Develop the outfitting plan (building load plan) in conjunction with the 3PL.
