The Downstream Scientist - Protein Purification The Scientist position will support cGMP manufacturing activities and will perform hands on cGMP production of recombinant protein and viral vectors under the supervision of the Downstream Manufacturing Manager. Trouble-shoot technical problems and review executed records related to production activities, write or review deviations, investigations, etc. related to cGMP production. Prepare and modify documents (SOPs) required for cGMP production, to maintain the equipment in the downstream production suites and to order equipment and oversee its installation and qualification. Collaborate together with QA & QC units to achieve production goals and timelines. Perform experiments in process development leading to transfer of same to production including technical review and interpretation of data produced by self and others; preparation of experiments/data for presentation, participation in laboratory investigations
