QP - Quality Control Analyst / Sr / Specialist / Specialist Sr - (Chicago, IL)

This position is for the Quonset Point Quality Assurance Representative reporting to the QAR Area Superintendent. This position also reports indirectly to the Director of Submarine Safety, Deep Submergence Systems, Fly-By-Wire Ship Control Systems and Quality Assurance (QA). This position supports the Quality Management System and SEPTEMBER Programs (SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC and FBW SCS) for work accomplished at the Quonset Point Facility. Responsibilities will include SEPTEMBER technical support; special investigations; problem resolution; interface with planning and work execution; support and documentation of work and certifications for ship; The successful applicant must possess exceptional people skills and a working understanding of Electric Boat's material handling processes, material control standards, work execution methods and SEPTEMBER technical qualifications. Applicants must possess a working understanding of SWSS/ERS, CPJ, MRPII, Re-entry Control, and Test Inspection Reporting. Additionally:
