3 types of production techs: HEADING TECH/ SEMES TECH/ ROLLING TECH: *Complete required quality checks. *Complete setup approvals. *Quality documentation and paperwork verification. *Pan dumps. *Fill machines with oil when needed. *Start wire feed at machines. *Assist in daily 5S activities and housekeeping; complete 5S checksheets. *Complete PM checksheet. *All tool change and adjustments, i.e. punch change, die change/centering, etc. *Pull full tubs and complete documentation. *Check out tools from tool room. *Eliminate the amount of lost parts from conveyors, rollers or chutes. *Eliminate waste. (i.e. scrap, rework, high tool consumption, etc.) *Complete scheduled quality checks of all parts. *Proper adjustment and settings of quality sensors. *Eliminate unnecessary repairs by doing proper preventive maintenance. (PM) *Eliminate machine downtime. *Expertise to use measurement and test equipment (e.g. micrometer, calipers, optical comparator, etc.)
