Managing Editor, Professional Development Courseware - (Philadelphia, PA)

The Managing Editor - Professional Development Courseware is responsible for managing assigned products, ensuring that the products (and their components) deliver on-time, on-spec, and on-budget to ensure market satisfaction and revenue qualifications. The Managing Editor manages all phases of the editorial development and production cycle for all assigned product deliverables, whether delivered as a for-sale product or ancillary component. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Working with the department Director, Clinical Director, Clinical Editor, Creative Services Designer, Digital Product Manager, Publisher, and other internal teammates as well as Authors/Subject Matter Experts/Vendors to define the deliverables and the scope of the product(s). • Working with the department Director to obtain and review full-service cost quotation from vendors (relating to production, art, audio, video, photography, XML, HTML, iSpring, Flash, etc.), as well as approve such estimates and final invoices
