Engineering Intern - (Wylie, TX)

Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for an Engineering Intern, for the 2017 summer, at our Wylie, TX location to work on the Vision Event Project. This is a paid internship. Position duties: Interact with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and R&D personnel on a daily basis to identify cost savings and quality opportunities within the assigned department. Take a hands-on approach working with operators and other support personnel to assist and support quality and cost savings initiatives. Analyze manufacturing, cost and quality data on a daily basis while transferring the data into chart, graphs, trend charting and requested. Determine the overall impact of cost, quality, process and procedures of the project assigned. Position qualifications: Candidates must be at least sophomore status in at an accredited university with a major in engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical).
