Equal Rights Advisor - (Dallas, TX)

FEMA is seeking talented men and women who are eager to assist disaster survivors in the role of Equal Rights Advisor , as a FEMA Reservist, in the Equal Rights unit. Reservists are vital employees, to FEMAs disaster workforce, who work on an on-call basis to support disaster survivors when they are most in need. As an Equal Rights Advisor in FEMAs Reservist Program, you will be responsible for; but not limited to the following: ? Provide overall management of the equal rights program; to include, ensuring compliance with equal employment and civil rights statutes. ? Establish and maintain open lines of communication with leadership, and program staff. ? Review planned FEMA activities and documents for compliance with policies, laws, and regulations pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and civil rights. ? Draft civil rights and equal employment correspondence for distribution to staff.
