Job title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)-Residential Community Alternatives – Direct Support Professional (DSP)- Residential is now accepting applications for the above position. Position summary: Direct Support Professionals (DSP/R) are responsible for performing direct active supports, ensuring consistency in implementation of established Person Centered Plans (PCP), various support plans (Inc. Health, Safety and Behavioral), and following all safety and health-related policies and procedures. DSP/Rs provides direct support to individuals in all aspects of their home lives. DSP/Rs are responsible for providing support to the individuals receiving services, utilizing teachable moments and methods, as instructed by Community Alternatives, to assist the individuals in all aspects of daily home life with the primary goal of integrating them into their community, as appropriate.
