The Research Analytical Chemist provides laboratory services for the support of research, development, and manufacturing activities mainly in a R&D environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing. These support services include devising and executing methods for the analysis of a variety of materials from production processes, competitors, suppliers and internal research using instrumental, physical and wet chemistry techniques (finished product foam samples from mattresses and pillows); documenting laboratory work in compliance with regulations; preparing and executing method validation protocols; and preparation of draft documents and technical reports.
