Maintenance Technician - (Gardner, KS)

SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production machines, facility equipment, physical structures and electrical and pipe systems according to safety and predictive processes to support the achievement of the company's goals and objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment. - Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and while servicing the machines and equipment - Detect faulty operations, defective material and report and repair those and any unusual situations to the proper supervisor. - Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test equipment and make the necessary adjustments. - Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as wiring and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
