Quality Engineer - (Aiken, SC)

A large global manufacturer near Aiken, SC is looking for a Quality Engineer to lead customer support, issue solving, corrective actions, internal audits, quality tracking, training and production support projects. This is an excellent position for a person with at least 1-5yrs of quality engineering background to further learn and hone these skills for potential advancement. A BS degree from an accredited university is required, along with 1+ years of quality engineering background in a busy manufacturing environment. An engineering or technical degree is preferred. Knowledge and background with ISO9001, SPC, statistical analysis and root cause analysis are also required. Other preferred skills and knowledge include statistically designed experiments, blue print reading and structured issue solving. 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Internal Auditing and professional certifications from ASQ (CQE or CQA) are preferred.
