Accounting Clerk - (San Rafael, CA)

About the Position The Accounting Clerk will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Responsibilities: Review invoices for proper level of approval and coding. Enter invoices and vendor files into ERP system. Prepare and process payment runs in accurate and timely manner. Responsible for clean and concise AP aging file. Provide supporting docs for financial audits. Research and resolve any invoice discrepancies. Build relationships with vendors/customers and provide quality level of customer service. Process and record customer payments in a timely manner. Ad hoc reports as necessary. Education / Background / Abilities: Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, 2yrs of related skills in the work field. Expertise to identify and solve problems efficiently and quickly. Expertise to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
