Water Plant Operator - (Knoxville, TN)

Water Plant Operator Hallsdale-Powell Utility District is seeking a water plant operator for its water treatment plants. Position involves maintaining, operating, and conducting tests at the water treatment plants. The position mandates day/night shift work, holidays, and weekends. We are looking for a team member that is willing to learn and apply their knowledge and abilities. Computer skills in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulics would be a benefit in this position. A HS diploma or GED is required and if you have a bachelor's or associates degree then that would be considered too. Need the expertise to cross train and work in a cross functional environment filling roles as needed at the plants and across the utility.
