Athletic Trainer PRN ( Job Number: 01417-7813 ) Work Location : United States-Georgia-Augusta-Doctors Hospital of Augusta - Augusta Schedule : PRN/Per Diem Description The most important role is to provide high quality care for all athletes at the high-school setting. Excellent service including communication, compassionate care, and exceeding expectations of athletes, parents, and coaches is the standard. The athletic trainer will be communicating and working under the direction of a highly qualified and experienced sports medicine physician practice. Duties associated with this position include preventative and rehabilitative care; evaluation and 1st aid; practice and game supervision; outstanding communication with athletes, parents, coaches, and physicians; referring athletes for appropriate diagnostic, follow-up procedures, and subsequent injury tracking; shared community projects promoting our sports medicine service; shared supervision of club and recreational sport.
