ATARID, Nationwide Specialist Recruiters to the Property, Hospitality and Asset Management Industries are being retained by our Client, a property management corporation who is seeking an experienced: Title: Staff Accountant Job responsibilities: Prepare and enter journal entries Complete timely monthly closings Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports Review variances with the property management team Support asset management team Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts to support financial reporting Assist asset and property management on all accounting, budgeting, reporting, collections, and disbursements Assist with the annual budget process Job Requirements: 3+ years of real estate or property management accounting BS or BA in Accounting or related position Proficiency with property management software preferred Strong Excel, Outlook and Ms word skills Good understanding of GAAP and general accounting processes
