Clinical Assistant II - Carilion Clinic Velocity Care-Urgent Care- Oak Grove - (Roanoke, VA)

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT CARILION CLINIC VELOCITY CARE URGENT CARE - ELECTRIC RD. IN ROANOKE, VA Shifts include but are not limited to 4,6,8, or twelve hour intervals;Weekends and Holidays as Needed ASSIST AS NEEDED AT ALTERNATE VELOCITY CARE SITES. Support Carilion`s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all position duties. Accountable for performing office or clinical job responsibilities as needed for the department. Provides support for clinical and medical staff in the delivery of quality medical care. Assists with patient care as directed by the physician and clinical staff within scope of training. Min Experience required Education: High-school diploma or equivalent required. Background: One Year background in physician office preferred but not required. Previous background in direct patient care, data processing, multi-line telephones, registration and/or medical insurance background desirable.
