Assistant Professor of Chemistry - BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES - (Roanoke, VA)

Assistant Professor Biochemistry, Fall 2017 Biomedical Sciences at Jefferson College of Health Sciences is seeking an Assistant Professor, beginning Fall semester, 2017, to teach general chemistry and biochemistry. The successful applicant will also be able to teach additional courses in our program, such as pharmacology or comparative physiology. A course offering in the applicant`s area of ability is also possible. Our program is designed to prepare students for medical school or graduate studies in health care and related fields. Duties include teaching lecture and laboratory courses as well as scholarly activity via an undergraduate-centered research program. The successful applicant will also be expected to engage in service to the College through committee work at the program, departmental, and College levels. Service to the community is also valued.
